Steven I. Fried

Steven Fried was born in New York City and has lived in the New York metropolitan area
his whole life. Mr. Fried resides with his wife and three children. Mr. Fried completed his
undergraduate studies at The George Washington University. He then received his Juris
Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 1992. While studying at Brooklyn Law School, 

Mr. Fried began to hone his craft of fighting for the injured through his employment at a worker’s compensation law firm. This allowed him to understand the difficulties injured persons face when they are injured, out of work and facing uncertainty about their future.


In 1993, Mr. Fried became a member of the Bar of New York State. In 1997 he became a
member of the Florida Bar. He became an associate at high value lawfirm; Zasky, representing Plaintiffs in personal injury lawsuits. Then practiced at two defense firms. This practice allowed Mr. Fried to understand how defense lawyers and insurance companies think, litigate and resolve cases. After five years of practice in 1997, Mr. Fried became the sole practicing member of The Law Firm of Steven I. Fried, PC, specializing in the representation of injured plaintiffs.

Presently, Mr. Fried practices in the courts of New York State as well as multiple Federal
District Courts. Mr. Fried has had continued success battling some of the largest defense firms in the country. He takes on the largest insurance companies in the United States.

As a solo practitioner Mr. Fried, prides himself on his relationships with his clients. He has been representing parents, their sons and daughters and even grandchildren. It is the relationships formed in over 20 years of private practice that keeps our clients pleased with our legal services. It is our ultimate satisfaction when a former client refers new cases to us, confirming that they are pleased with our work and legal representation. Since 1997,

Mr. Fried has recovered tens of millions of dollars for his clients while treating them with respect and courtesy.


Mr. Fried has become a pillar in the ethnic communities of the New York
metropolitan area. He has been a proud sponsor (six years) of the annual Ecuadorian
parade in Corona/Jackson Heights, Queens held on Northern Blvd. every August.

In addition, he has lectured to Ecuadorian, Mexican, Dominican and Puerto Rican
laborers and their organizations on the laws and rights of injured clients pertaining to
construction. He has also been a lecturer and supporter of labor unions such as The
Laborers International Union of North America, Local 79 Construction and General
Laborers, Local 78 Asbestos Lead Hazardous, Waste Laborers, Latin American
Workers Project, as well as numerous minority trade associations.
